Paragliding opportunities in Nepal are contingent upon weather conditions, primarily from November to February, with the ideal months being November and December. The premier destination for paragliding in Nepal is the Annapurna region, specifically the Pokhara Valley. The valley's microclimate offers ideal flying conditions, characterized by excellent stability compared to the Kathmandu Valley, located 150km to the east. While paragliding is also conducted in the Mahabharat range, most activities take place in the picturesque town of Pokhara, nestled at the foot of the Annapurna Himalayas.
