Nepal Tourist Visa

Foreign visitors can obtain visas for Nepal through multiple avenues. These include Nepalese embassies and consulate offices in their respective countries and upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport for those arriving by air. Tourists entering by road can acquire visas at immigration offices located at the border between India and China. The Nepal tourist visa fee structure is as follows:

USD 30.00 or equivalent foreign currency for a 15-day Tourist Visa with Multiple entries
USD 50.00 or equivalent foreign currency for a 30-day Tourist Visa with Multiple entries
USD 125.00 or equivalent foreign currency for a 100-day tourist visa with multiple entries

Visa Extension Fee

A tourist visa extension is done for a minimum of 15 days, with a fee of USD 45 and a fee of USD 3 per day for additional days.
In the case of a delay of less than 150 days, an additional USD 5 per day is a late fine.

Gratis Visa (Visa for Free)

The Gratis visa is issued free of charge in the case of the following categories of visa applicants:

Children below 10 years old, except US citizens
For up to 30 days for SAARC citizens (except Afghanistan) visiting Nepal for the first time in a given visa year. Afghan citizens are eligible for a Gratis Visa on Arrival only upon the recommendation of the Department of Immigration. If you are an Afghan citizen, you can request that the concerned institution invite you to Nepal for the necessary paperwork with the Department of Immigration to get your Gratis Visa 'On Arrival.'
Non-Residential Nepalese (NRN) card holder ( issued by MoFA or Nepalese diplomatic missions abroad)
Chinese Nationals for 150 days
