Annapurna circuit trek is one of the most popular and considered as one of the best trekking in the world. The duration of this trek is from 12 to 21 days long; with distinct regional scenery of rivers, flora, fauna and massif views of mountains. There are four major regions that are passed through on this trekking i.e. Lamjung, Manang, Mustang and Myagdi. Lamjung and Myagdi are the lower regions and are both predominantly Hindu and with lush green sub-tropical valleys with villages and terraced farming. Manang and Mustang are of the higher elevations and are predominantly Tibetan Buddhist. The region no doubt is rich in sceneries apart from the diverse culture and flora and faunas. The trek goes counter-clockwise from Besisahar to Nayapul and reaches its summit in Thorung La (pass) at the height of 5,416m (17,769ft). The route goes past the following Manaslu (8,163m), Annapurna II III and IV, Gangapurna and of course Annapurna I, Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri. The trekking allows you passing through the world's deepest Kali Gandaki Gorge in between those two 8,000 meter peaks Mt. Annapurna (8,091m) and Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m). Poon Hill (3,210m), the great view point which offers massif views Annapurna ranges, Hiunchuli, Macchupucchre, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and many more mountains.
