We stay in Sherpa homes in Thamo and Phortse, both stunning villages. Renjo pass trek offers a gradual ascent up the valley passing through patches of birch and rhododendron forest. The trail passes the small yak-grazing settlements to reach the Gokyo Lake with good time to savor the incredible scenery. From there we can observe the magnificent views of Everest (8848m), Makalu, Cho Oyo (8153m) and Lhotse (8511m) and many more.
